"Darkest Before Dawn"

Dawn was living the American dream: the perfect job, the perfect house, and the perfect husband, who convinced her that “Anything’s possible when you’re doing the right thing”.

But in 2009 when a recession rocks the nation, she no longer believes in her husband’s philosophy. Her American dream soon becomes an American nightmare when she’s on the verge of losing everything she worked so hard for.

Dawn quickly reverts to her old philosophy: "Fight for what’s yours by any means necessary".

For Dawn, that means becoming someone she was in the past in order to ensure that she and her husband will again have the perfect future. Some say it’s darkest before dawn. They have no idea.

"Ol' Timer"

Brian Moore is nineteen years old, and has only six months in on a fifty to life prison sentence. But that’s the least of his problems.

The inmates in The Department of Corrections call it the Department of Corruption. Imagine criminal minds from all over New York State being shipped and warehoused in various facilities up north and being left to their own devices.

In this overcrowded world of misery, oppression, addiction and violence, Brian must buy into the insanity in order to remain sane. And if by some miracle he regains his freedom, Jennifer will stop at nothing to punish him for her sister’s murder.

At the age of 13, Paris ran away from her foster home to find her real mother. Nothing could’ve prepared her for what awaited her in the underworld of addicts and drugs. 14 years later, a private investigator tracked her down and told her that her foster mother died and left her everything.Paris returns to the small town, only to find that it has drastically changed… for the worst. Paris is far from a savior, but when she witnesses the sheriff turn a blind eye to what one of the deadliest gangs in town does to a teenage boy, she refuses to standby and let it go unpunished.

Love is too important, and life is too short. Don’t let these pitfalls trip you up and rob you and your significant other of the good life and happy relationship you both deserve!
