In 2006, DJ Trumastr founded Beat*Shot Productions in Albany, NY. The company provides services in the entertainment industry. It consists of a small group of talented individuals with skills ranging from on-air radio personalities and Disc Jockeys to emcees, photographers and promoters. In 2011, a sister company was created, called Beat*Shot Electric Company. Bringing new talent on board, and this team focuses on the promotion of Electronic and House music. The company hosts two annual events. One is the Beat*Shot Music Fest, which is a 1 day event which spotlights and recognizes the many talented indie artists, visual artists, and small local businesses throughout the Northeast. The other is, Beat*Shot Spins for J. Dilla, is an event which celebrates the extraordinary life of producer James Dewitt Yancey (J. Dilla), while raising awareness of Lupus. All proceeds from the event benefit The J. Dilla Foundation.
DJ Trumastr is also actively involved in an after school program teaching the inner city youth the techniques of Djing at the NYS Museum.
